If you want to stay longer than a week, it is better for you to rent an apartment like I have done by renting apartment Rome in my last journey to Rome because this will cost you less than staying at the hotel Rome for same duration. If you still okay with the quality of the service that you will get from apartment then it is okay for you to book the apartment not the hotel.
